LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL!!!
Today we are going to finish our WWI stuff.
Tomorrow you will receive the review sheet to study from.
Wednesday you will answer 20 multiple choice (guess) questions and begin the outline for your essay.
Thursday you will complete the essay question using your notes and outline.
Friday you only have to come to class if you missed either Wednesday or Thursday or need extra time.

German U-boats
Who: Germany
What: U-boats were used as blockades against enemy shipping.
Boats bringing supplies from the U.S and British Empire to the Islands of Great Britain.
When: ww1 time period
Why: They were using them to affect the economic aspect of the war.
How: it hurt the allied countries economically.
Contraband
Who: American- Flag chips that supported the European War.
What: Carried ammunition and weapons but could carry other goods as well
Between the U.S and Europe
Throughout ww1
Why: The U.S was not envolved in the war yet.
How: The boats carrying contraband could be seized by the German Navy or be sunk by the U-boats.

Who: Germanys foreign secretary.
What: telegram to German Embassy in mexico that stated that they World support them if they invaded the us.
Where: German embassy in Mexico
When: happened in 1916
Why: Germany thought that the U.S World be too busy with the war with mexico to worry about the war in Europe.
How: a British team intercepted the telegram and passed the contents onto woodrow Wilson.
