The cowboys that moved the cattle would treat the cattle bad. They would whip them and cut them into little pieces. Picked the pieces up and packed them into boxes to sale the meat. The cowboys where so lazy that they wouldn’t complete their work by feeding the cows. When they died their was one cow that would scare the cowboys at night because it transformed into zombie cow. The cowboys got traumatize and their eyes would pop out like two giant hay stacks. They would run as fast as a road runner. I where never seen. Other cowboys came along and would do the same miss treat tours the cattle. Into one of the bad cowboys relies that all along its was one of their cowboys dress as a cow zombie trying to scare them so that they would learn their lesson of not being mean to the cows. And they sure did from that date on know the cowboys are careful and treat the cows right as all animals should. Its sad how their had to be a cowboy hero in order to change the miss treatment of the cattle drives.

Cowboys
Cowboy were great warriors of the west they did what they wanted when they wanted. Some were good some were outlaws who didn’t even care. So basically cowboys were the glue that held the west together. Cowboys were also great at catching steer with their great combat skills they were great at using the lasso. Even to this day cowboys still walk this world with great finesse riding the most dangerous animal the bull they even have their own sport.

Once upon a time, during the construction of the railroad during Westward expansion, a group of Indians got mad because there were people taking over there land. Since the railroad was being built all their food was moving away so they had to come up with a plan so the workers would never come back. So one night well all the workers were asleep the Indians snuck into their camp and tied up all the workers to a real big tree near by. When the workers woke up the next morning the Indians were taking part the entire railroad that was built. The workers tried hard to break free so after awhile they gave up because a few of the Indians were guarding them. Since all hope was lost the Indians tore up the railroad and cut the tree down (that the workers were strapped to) to put it in the river. As the workers floated down the river the Indians laughed because they could hear the workers crying. From that point on the workers never came back and as far as the Indians know they are still floating in the ocean. So the Indians lived happily ever after and the workers not so happy.
This is the story of Johnny Anderson the world’s greatest shooter. Johnny could shoot a can from two miles away. Johnny was the most famous man in the old west. One day Johnny saw a man trying to rob a bank. Johnny shot him in his for head while drinking beer with his right hand. Johnny was born was born with guns because his father was the owner of a gun store. Johnny’s favorite gun was the 3.65 magnum, he used to love going behind he house, when he was 12, and shoot apples from the apple tree. Johnny was also known as the villain when he saved a man from death by shooting a rope that he was being hung by. Johnny knew the man was innocent so he did what he had to do. People would be crazy to face Johnny but one man was the craziest. A man called Pablo challenge him. It was twelve, I knew because the sun was right over me. Johnny and Pablo stood face to face. They both took twenty spaces back. Then they turned around and shot. Johnny and Pablo standing for twenty seconds until Pablo fell into the floor lying there with a gun in his hand. Johnny picked up his hat that fell because Pablo blew it off with his pistol and left. Johnny was never seen for two years, that’s when Johnny came back to visit his family. Suddenly the sheriff stormed in and said, ‘Johnny you are wanted by the police for the murder of Pablo Escobar.’ Johnny quicker than a bullet left through the window never to return. They say Johnny joined the circus as Johnny golden eye for his incredible shooting. One of his famous act is when Johnny has to shoot blind folded at an apple that is being hold by a woman mouth. Johnny will be remembered for his incredible shooting. Johnny died when he was trying a new act. The act was Johnny had to jump 50 feet to the ground while trying to shoot a button that pulls the concrete floor to fall safely on the trampoline. Johnny didn’t miss, what happened is the button didn’t work. Even though Johnny died we will all remember his incredible shooting
T he transcontinental railroad was a complete advantage, yes it was. Once, long ago, cowboys, ranchers, vaqueros, etc.. asked for a better way to transport goods and services east to west, o yesiree. I mean, they wanted a transcontinental railroad to be able to travel and transport goods. Ya, it was all good for the cowboys, ranchers, etc.. But, there was also a great disadvantage for the first settlers there. Yesirre, I mean the native Americans (or Indians as people used to call them).. My, oh my did that bring complete anger to the native peoples. Once, a rancher asked me, “What does a tall tale mean?” I answered in a way that yes, so he could understand, “Well lad, a tall tale is mostly a story with humor, or sometimes important moments in history filled with humor…”
The rancher replied, “Ya, I understand, but what kinds of tall tales are there about history?” There are many tall tales about history, for instance the one that I am typing right now…” Anyway, a disadvantage was for the native peoples yes it sure was. One simple reason why was because it was taking up their land and also it distracted their main source of food, clothing, and shelter, the buffalo. 0h yes, another main reason I know about the transcontinental railroad is that people that were in the east went west to find new opportunities in Jobs, land and a need for change in their lives. I also know that new migrants were farmers. The farmers that moved west searched for mostly gold, silver, and other types of minerals. The reasons why people liked the railroad was because it helped change their life. Yes, its actually true that It presented a great opportunity for the railroad builders back then. I also know that this was what started the Indian Wars. Many native tribes fought the railroad but it was difficult for them to get rid of the railroad. Ya, I know the railroad was even a threat to the existence of the natives… Thus, this was the advantages and disadvantages of the transcontinental railroad…

Vaqueros
Once upon a time there was Open Range, directed by Kevin Costner, opens in theaters today. The movie sheds light on the life of the cowboy, after what critics consider an 11-year drought in the genre of Western movies. In the movie, the characters of Boss Charley, Mose, and Button Diego Luna are "free-grazers" during a critical time in the history of the cowboy. In the backdrop of the movie, the Mexican cowboy, Button, represents the rarely recognized truth of how the West was really won.

There was one big heard of buffalo that lived freely in the parries .But one day two Indians were passing by when they saw the buffalo heard. Quickly they called a cattle driver to take the buffalo to their ranch. The next there they were the two Indians and about ten cattle drivers. After several attempts of moving the buffalo they finally succeeded. The buffalo were starting to move but after a few miles they stopped walking. They knew something was wrong. The Indians were getting frustrated so they told the men “if they don’t start moving your not getting paid.” The men quickly bust out their whips and started to smack the buffalo as hard as they could. After two frustrating days a vaquero was passing by he saw a lot of dead buffalo they had lost blood accessibly so they died. The vaquero was pretty upset and sad at the same time so then he said “who told you to move this buffalo,” “the two Indians” the men answered “let the buffalo free” the vaquero said. The cattle drivers answered “no or else were are not getting paid.” Then the vaquero bust out his guns and said “let them go or else” “or else what” said a man “ill kill you all” answered the vaquero. Quickly the men bust out there guns but half of them were already dead the ones that were left start shooting the vaquero. But one by one they were getting killed. After he killed the men and let the buffalo heard free the two Indians came. Really angry they said “what have done to our buffalo” “your buffalo” said the vaquero. Seconds later the two Indians ended with one shoot in the forehead each. The vaquero rode away in the sun set.

The Indian Removal Act Of 1830
Once upon a time during the 1800’s there was many new white people coming into the west and settling in the Indians territory. Because of the increase of population in Georgia a native group leader named Nalgaroja was concerned about the whites starting problems. Nalgaroja knew at a point they would have to go to war for the land since the white people were stingy. Nalgarojas arch enemy was Andrew Jackson; with the law on his side he was able to make laws against his enemy and his tribe. Andrew had planned to attack Nalgarojas territory and succeeded in doing so therefore gaining 22 million acres of land. Nalgaroja and other tribe O.G.’s were angry and gathered all of their toughest soldiers and committed many acts against the white Americans so they can gain their lands back. Because of all the work put in by the brave soldiers going against the government they were able to get the government to let them occupy lands in the United States. After they got what they wanted Nalgaroja and the rest of the tribes threw the biggest party with Indian prostitutes, home grown marijuana, and their own brew in 1823. After all of the beef the Indians tried non-violent tribes by adopting Anglo-American Practices, and were later known as the “5 civilized tribes”.

Buffalo’s were used as skin and were very hard to kill except for one tribe that said that they were the best tribe in the world and lived like kings. Until one day a guy named mark was wondering around the canyon where he found the tribe and saw all the skin and food they had. He was a poor man that was very hungry ad asked the tribe if he could get some food and skin because it was going to rain pretty soon. The tribe said no, and mark asked why, and they replied. We don’t know you and besides we have worked very hard to obtain all this food and skin.
Mark was sad and did the first thing that came to his mind. Challenge the tribe to a buffalo contest. Mark told the tribe that if he killed the most buffalo by sundown that he would get to keep every single piece of skin and all the food the tribe had, but if the tribe killed the most buffalo then the tribe would get to keep Marc as a slave and make him get more food and skin for the tribe. So that challenge was on, by sundown Marc had killed a total of like 5,000 buffalo while the tribe only killed 500. The tribe was sad and embarrassed knowing that they weren’t the best buffalo killers anymore. Buffalo were almost extinct but not anymore.
Once there was a railroad worker named Bob. Bob had super powers that allowed him to make railroad in five minutes. Bob always used his super powers to get the job done faster. One day the town was having a competition. The competition was for which group of railroad workers could build a railroad faster, the winner’s prize was a whole month off of work. Bob right away got started using his super powers for the competition. But oh no, another worker saw Bob using his super powers! The other railroad worker approached Bob, and ripped his leg off! Bob screamed in pain and his super powers accidentally went off and built a railroad over the other railroad workers face. The other railroad worker couldn’t move because his head weighed a ton! Bob felt so bad he apologized. Bob decided he would only use his powers to get the job done, and not for competitions.
Paul Bunyan is a beast. Literally he is a beast because he is a giant. He has a friend and his friend is babe the blue ox. Paul and babe were so large the tracks they made gallivanting around Minnesota filled up and made the 10,000 lakes. He was a lumber jack so Babe and Paul would go around and cut down trees.
Paul likes to work with big men. The most famous were his seven axmen (Each of these men was over six feet tall sitting down and weighed over 300 pounds.). They were all named Elmer, so when he called they all came running. No grindstone was large enough to grind the axes so they sharpened them by holding them against large stones rolling down hill. These guys were so crazy that the year of the two winters was so cold that they let their beards grow so long that they wrapped it around their necks.
Monkeys.
Monkeys are really crazy. Their loud and they can be really obnoxious. They can be tall like gorillas and arangatanges. But they also can be really small. They can be really real cute but they can also be really ugly. But I really want a monkey a cute little one.
Vaqueros
Ones upon a time long longed ago in a far away galaxy there were vaqueros rooming around their galaxy so Vaqueros are the Mexican riders that came from México (duh) so that makes them Mexican.(ha-ha)
They lured how to ride horses and to herd cattle.
They were called vaqueros because they were dressing like the cowboys they also wore boots.
Vaqueros come from the word buckaroos.
Ha-ha the vaqueros were brought to do the work that the cowboys dint want do like how it is today.
But probly they dint get deported like how it it is today. So that’s all folks.

Cowboys
The cowboy has played a central role in the historical myth of the West. In this unit students trace the growth of the cowboy from his birth in the dime novels of the mid-nineteenth century to his maturation in the hands of Buffalo Bill and John Wayne. Students will learn that 19th century cowhands were underpaid and overworked. They will also learn that there were Mexican and Canadian cowboys, African-American and Native American cowboys, and that there are people working as cowboys today. In this unit, students learn to read popular culture critically. And In the two decades after the Civil War the open-range cattle industry dominated the Great Plains, then died and was replaced by closed-range ranching and stock farming. In West Texas during the 1880s new owners, representing eastern and European investment companies, gained control of the ranching industry and brought with them innovations threatening too many ranch hands. Previously, cowboys could take part of their pay in calves, brand mavericks, and even run small herds on their employers' land. New ranch owners, interested in expanding their holdings and increasing their profits, insisted that the hands work only for wages and claimed mavericks as company property. The work was seasonal. It required long hours and many skills, was dangerous, and paid only an average of forty dollars a month. The ranch owners' innovations, along with the nature of the work, gave rise to discontent.
In 1883 a group of cowboys began a month strike against five ranches, the LIT, which they believed were controlled by corporations or individuals interested in ranching only as a speculative venture for quick profit. In late February or early March of 1883 crews drew up an ultimatum demanding higher wages and submitted it to the ranch owners. Twenty-four men signed it and set March 31 as their strike date. The original organizers of the strike, led by Tom Harris of the established a small strike fund and attempted, with limited success, to persuade all the cowboys in the area of the five ranches to honor the strike. Reports on the number of people involved in the strike ranged from thirty to 325. Actually the number changed as men joined and deserted the walkout.
once upon a time there was a railroad worker named bobbie, and he was the best railroad builder, so one day he decided to add on to a running railroad track and so poor bobbie got distrracted, and so a train passed by, and the train ran poor little bobbie over,....and yes he did live. lol the end.
